MANILA, Philippines -- Negros Occidental (Bacolod) moved closer to clinching this year's Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Suzuki Under-23 National Cup.Negros defeated archrival Iloilo 3-1 in the first leg of the finals on Thursday in Iloilo City.
Negros striker Aldrin Dolino scored 2 goals while teammate Joven Bedic added 1 more as the visiting team won the match in extra time.
The Negrenses now carry a 2-goal cushion heading into the second leg in Bacolod on Sunday at the Panaad Stadium. -- ANC
