General Santos City "Tuna Capital of the Philippines"True Colors scored a perfect 10 from resident judge Vice Ganda and returning guest judges including Georgina Wilson, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Ryan Bang, to take home the P2M grand prize. Half of the prize will go to the group, while the other million will go to the barangay they represent.
Showtime also awarded P100,000 to Brgy. Poblacion of Negros Oriental for doing the best intro in the grand finals.
With back-breaking dance moves and death-defying stunts, True Colors bested 11 other groups representing barangays all over the country. They are Anonymous Edition of Rizal, Cool Guyz of Laguna, Asian Pride of Mandaluyong, Vision 20 of Laguna, Tribos Humanikas of Caloocan, Artist Youth of the Philippines of Bulacan, Yuri Crowd of Bacolod, BTLA Kids of Caloocan, Negros Dance Collective and wild card winners The Next Level Octomix Dancers and Street Noise.
True Colors is the third grand champion of the hit talent-variety program hosted by Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta and Kim Atienza. Previous winners are XB Gensan of season one and the Laoag City Gymnastics Group of season two.
Meanwhile, Showtime will enter its fourth season tomorrow, May 2011 16 with new gimmicks and surprises. There will be no minimum number of members required per group or contestant, which means more Filipinos will be able to join and be seen on TV.
